At Luvii, operated by LeoDigital ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), protectiveness and confidentiality of your personal data is a core priority. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, and disclose your personal information in connection with your access to and use of the Luvii mobile application ("App") and Services. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect different categories of information from you to ensure a smooth, safe, and personalized dating experience:

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Setup: Your name, email address, phone number, gender, sexual orientation, preferences, and date of birth (used to verify that you are 18+).
  • Profile Details: Photos, biological descriptions, relationship goals, interests, and hobbies you voluntarily add to your profile.
  • Chats and Interactions: Messages, files, and photos you send through our secure, in-app messaging system.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: Device brand, model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, network operator, and language settings.
  • App Usage: Actions taken within the App, including screens viewed, users matched with, timestamps, and active session durations.

C. Precise Location Data

Luvii is a location-based social matchmaking app. To connect you with nearby users, we collect your precise geographical location (GPS latitude and longitude coordinates). In strict compliance with Google Play location policies:

  • We collect location data only after obtaining your explicit opt-in consent.
  • You can enable, disable, or modify location permissions at any time directly through your device's operating system settings.
  • If location tracking is disabled, some matching features of the App may become unavailable.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal data for the following legitimate purposes:

  • Matchmaking: Running our matching algorithm to suggest the most compatible profiles based on distance, age, and interest criteria.
  • Communication: Facilitating in-app chat connections between matched users.
  • Safety and Abuse Prevention: Verifying user profiles, detecting fraud, preventing cyberbullying, identifying and blocking fake accounts, and enforcing our User-Generated Content rules.
  • App Improvement: Analyzing crash logs, server logs, and user behavior metrics to fix bugs and improve performance.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We respect your privacy. We share your information only under the following circumstances:

  • With Other Users: Your public profile information (photos, name, bio, interests, age, and general distance) is visible to other Luvii users. Your precise location and email address are never displayed.
  • Service Providers: We may share hashed or encrypted data with trusted cloud storage, database hosting, analytics, and moderation service providers who operate strictly under confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Obligations: We may disclose data if required by law, subpoena, or to comply with law enforcement inquiries to ensure public and community safety.

We DO NOT sell, lease, or trade your personal data to advertisers or third-party brokers.

4. Data Security

We implement robust administrative, technical, and physical security measures, including SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmissions, secure servers, and firewalls, to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or alteration of your personal information.

5. Account and Data Deletion (Your Rights)

In compliance with Google Play Developer policies regarding user data safety, you have full control over your data. You have the right to request access, correction, or permanent deletion of your data at any time:

  • In-App Deletion: You can permanently delete your account by navigating to the "Settings" tab inside the Luvii App and clicking "Delete Account."
  • Web-based Request: You can submit a deletion request by contacting us through our Google Play Store support channel.

Upon initiating account deletion, all your personal data (including photos, messages, match logs, and location history) will be permanently deleted from our active databases within 30 days. Some data may be temporarily retained in encrypted, offline backups for up to 90 days, or as required to meet legal compliance obligations.

6. Children's Privacy

Luvii is not directed at, nor do we knowingly collect data from, anyone under the age of 18. If we discover that a user under 18 has created an account, we will terminate the account and purge all associated data immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last Updated" date at the top of the page. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
